About the Institute
The New Mexico Water Resources Research Institute (NM WRRI), authorized by the 1964 Water Resources Act, was formed in 1963 and was one of the first institutes approved in the United States. The New Mexico WRRI is one of 54 institutes/centers in the United States and a member of the National Institutes for Water Resources and the Powell Consortium. The institute is housed in Stucky Hall on the New Mexico State University campus.
